Is this IBS?

Hello all,

I am suffering from loose stool every day, especially in the morning. The stool always come in following conditions:

- Condition A: Early morning soon after I wake up.
- Condition B: Soon after my morning breakfast and coffee.

Sometimes I only suffer from condition A alone and the rest of the day is fine. Other time I suffer from condition B alone and the rest of the day is fine.

However, I sometimes suffering from both A and B, but the amount of stool from B is very little compare to A.

In short, is this a serious issue? What is your opinion?

I faced similar problem slightly more on a severe level. Was facing the problem after every meal and snacks. Could control the same after having Lacto-Bacillus for more than 15 days and still having the same.

Sounds like IBS to me. If I have to go once, I will prob be going all day. Maybe several days if I don't address it. I've had my gallbladder out so I have chronic bile diarrhea. Changing my diet to eliminate soy dairy and gluten help. Might try that and visit your doc.

Thank you all....

Now it is better.... I think my diarrhea is reducing. And it may highly possibly due to my stress.

Is there a sense of urgency to go to the bathroom in these circumstances, or do you just happen to go in the morning on a regular schedule.  A lot of IBS-D is accompanied by a sense of urgency (i.e. you have to go 'now' or you might have an accident).  That very similar to the symptoms I experienced when I first noticed my IBS.  If this is the case for you, you might want to consider adjusting your diet, or taking probiotics.  Talk to your doctor if

That being said, if you're only dealing with this issue once a day in the morning you're doing WAY better than many IBS sufferers out there.

I have had chronic diarrhea for over 2 1/2 yrs., now. After many many doctor appts, the gastroenterologist gave me Cholestyramine for Oral Suspension. It is a powder that  you dissolve in any non-carbonated drink.

I have had immediate results! It is so wonderful!! Ask your Dr. about it.
