Is this IBS?

Hello, I have had this pain in my lower left side off and on. Basically, once a month, when I am stressed, I will eat dinner and immediately right after, I feel this urge to vomit, so I do. Then I get this really bad pain in my lower left abdomine and I feel the urge to have a bm. Then as I am going, it hurts way worse. Then right after it feels a little better, then the pain returns within 5 minutes. I then keep going. This lasts about 8 hours. My doc thinks its IBS, but I am not sure. The pains feel like burning and like pressure, and is almost too much to bare. Is this IBS or is there something else I should be concerned with? They did x rays on me and said they were normal, and did a Celiac test on me which came back negative.
