Is this indicative of IBS?

About 3 days ago I began getting a "squeezing", "throbbing" feeling in my guts to right side of my navel.  It comes and goes and sometimes lasts for up to 20 minutes.  I thought it may be due to being constipated but even after a bowel movement the pain comes and goes.  Earlier in the day it felt like my kidney's also hurt but after the bowel movement the kidney pain feeling dissipated some but not completely.  I also have muscle aches down into my thighs.  I am calling in the am to schedule with the doctor but should I try to call and just a referral on to the gastroenterologist?  Any suggestions would be a great help!  Thank you.

Welcome to the IBS Community!  I would recommend that you see your doctor about this (either your PCP or your gastroenterologist), as the blood in your stool is worrysome.

I forgot to add that when I did have a bowel movement it had quite a bit of red blood.
