when i say the odd cup i mean not to have too many in the one day it wont do anything to you but it might just give some reflux thats all
peppermint is a claming agent so it can help with the spasms that can but not always be caused by trapped gas.they might not stop you from getting gas that really depends on what foods you have eaten in the first place but can help calm it down, they are also caffine free ,worth a try maybe 20mins after your meal
i am not sure we have beano here [ireland} so i have not tried it

yes i have tried the peppermint oil but i prefer the peppermint tea i find it great shortly a meal it does take a little getting used to {flavor} but now i simply love it very refreshing and good for the digestion.if you do try it just try the odd cup first as it can give some people reflux depending on your nature but it definitely cools the system down so to speak
another good one is ginger tea also great for digestion and give your body a little warmth
you can get these ready made [TEA BAGS] or just by grating a little ginger in hot water and leave it for a few minutes to stew and enjoy
im getting thirsty for a cup already
