White Lumps in Stool
My girlfriend has suffered from IBS for years.  Recently she has noticed that while having a bowl movement there are small white lumps in, and around her stool.  She is horribly embarrassed about this and is neglecting seeing her doctor about it.  Any idea's as to what it could be?  The white lumps are firm, and resemble a..... maggot in appearance.  Its a horrible descriptive word, but thats the best she can describe them to me.  They aren't always there, but they do come and go enough that its a concern to her.  She hasn't made any major changes in her diet lately either.  Anyone???
