bleeding from my bum /ibs ?

hi im 22 and was told 3 years ago i have ibs but im realy worried because recently ive been realy constipaited and 3 days ago i noticed i was bleeding from my bum  also have stringy discharge in my poop sftmi i went to the doctors and they just said it was ibs does any1 else bleed from there bum with ibs ?

my doctor isnt helpful she doesnt test me for anything she just say you have constipation because of ibs here take laxitives i have heard of hemoroids and anal sissures but my doctors useless

hi thanks for your reply ive been tested for celiac it cam bak negative i havent heard of ibd just ibs ive tried taking laxitives and they help a little but then im constipaited again

Possible repercussions of constipation are hemorrhoids, diverticulosis, and anal fissures.  It is much smarter and simpler to prevent these than treat these.

You should be checked for Celiac disease if you have not.  You should be checked for IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) if you have not.  

You need to treat the constipation and keep things moving.  Even if it's "just" IBS, there are repercussions for all the pressure that constipation causes.  You could try taking magnesium citrate tablets.  Or you could try Miralax.  Those are two options that could be effective without causing the problems that frequent use of strong laxatives can.
