I have so much gas, no matter what I eat. I stay bloated all the time.   When I do pass gas,  I blow out feces.  How embarassing and humiliating this is.  Can you help?  I am 60 yrs. old.  Please don't tell me this is natural!

Thanks!

Excessive gas and bloating can be caused by, believe it or not, constipation.  If you have never tried a colon cleanse, I highly recommend it.  Being 60, you may have years of backed up feces whose fumes are causing the gas and bloating.  You also might try a mild lxative called Fibercon, which my doc recommended.  It can be taken nightly and you will get back into a normal routine.  But if the gas and bloating persist, do consider a colon cleanse.  It's the best thing I've ever taken for my bloating.  I could not eat because I was so backed up and gassy.  The colon cleanse fixed all the problems.  Go to GNC and try the Ultimate Cleanse or search the web for colon cleanses.  You'll be glad you did.  I wish you luck!

My doc had to put me on Pepcid (prescription).  It helps.  You take it before meals.  I get bloated also after eating but the Pepcid helps this not happen.  Make sure you are eating enough fiber, drinking enough water and exercising.  When I exercise more I don't seem to get so much boating.
