lower stomach pain after eating

Hi, I am a 42y.o maIe & have been getting extreme stomach pains straight after eating. The pain is all over the stomach area from about 5cm below the rib cage.

This has only been happening for a few days.

Does anyone have any idea on what this could be, and what can allieviate the pain.

Thank You.

Hi Bob,

Could be a number of things. If you feel this after eating, try watching the food your eating...ie...spices, oils, fats, milk products, sugars, & alchohol, sounds like you may have some sensitivities going on. Possible acid build up from food not digesting.

You can try prilosec which is available at local drug store. Also for sure if this continues, set up an appointment with gastronologist. I certainly am not one to diagnose. However prilosec is very safe OTC medicine. Also be sure to tell your famil doctor asap, best to be cautious.

Happy 4th!
