mucus in stool

i had an appendectomy about 2 1/2 months ago and for about the last week or so i have had alot ov mucus covering my stools, that have been regular consistancy but very small. sometimes all i pass is mucus. the bowel movemets have been very small amounts maybe once or twice a day. i have had just about no appitite and have dizzy/ nausous spells amy help or advice would be greatly appreciated
