pain lower right side

I have had pain off and on lower right side for about 3 yrs. now. Feels like appendix pain but was ruled out. I had ovarian cysts but the pain was different then this . I could still feel this pain through it. I seem to have it worse when I drink milk ? It is a burning ,stabbing pain. Comes and goes,but when it hurts it's all I can think about. nyone out there that can relate? Any ideas to try? thinking of pro-biotics?

I believe mine has something to do with occasional blockage. Guess we'll find out soon whats going on as I am about to schedule my colonoscopy. (fun...) Using my food diary I realized it coincides with nuts and seeds....so I have cut them out completly as as of yet have not had this problem again. We'll see.
