symtoms of ibs and celics could i have them both

For the last 2 months after have taken a 10 day dose of Cipro i have been having changes in bowel movements. It started off with yellowish diarrhea daily to a harder stool in the morning with diarrhea a few times during the day. i have had lab test done all coming back normal for liver function, gallbladder functions and no signs of infections. I have talked with my doctor for being concerned about gardia or c diff infection but he does not think that it is. He is thinking that i have a gluten intorelance such as celiacs and or lactose intolerance. So for the last 2 weeks i have taken out all gluten and dairy from my diet. Things were starting to appear better with the diarrhea and then i got really constipated with abdominal right side pain, gas bloating and tenderness of the abdominal area.   This is also including extra fiber and water intake. What can be causing this? I had a endoscopy and colonoscopy  done 4 years ago nothing showed other then i could possibly have ibs and a sensitivity to wheat germ. no problems since then until the course of antibiotics....

Also, did they do a biopsy during the endoscopy to check for celiac disease?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  This definitely could be caused by a gluten intolerance and eliminating gluten and lactose from your diet sounds like a good idea.
