Hi ladies, hope you're all doing well today. I need your help. My sisters are hosting my baby shower this weekend and aren't really knowledgeable as to how things should go. So if you don't mind, please give me your opinion as to how things should run: food, games, etc. And please tell me about your favorite games and how they work. Thanks in advanceAdvance care plus Advance relief! :)
The games played depends a bit on the "audience". At my sisters baby shower most of the guests really did not like the "hard thinking" games like all the crossword and trivia baby shower games I found off the internet. At another shower I went to the people loved these games.
The memoryMemory loss Mental status tests game is always easy. Put 15-20 items on a cookie sheet and cover it with a towel. Give everyone a certain amount of time to look at the items them cover them up again and let everyone write down what they can remember - all is timedTimed release iron/vitamin b complex/c of course.
You can also find different ways for people to give baby advice - On the back of their favorite baby receipe card or just talking about them etc.
You can make some of the trivia questions personal - like asking how the baby was named, when the actual vs suggested due date was/is, how many diapers do you think the father will change in the first year etc etc. Of course having fun prizes helps - like beauty suppies or baby stuff etc.

Finger food and "healthy" snacks work well of course with a great desert - chocolate fondue, make your own ice cream sundays, or just a great cake or too.
We played the games first, ate and opened gifts. You should have stuff to occupy other children if they come to the baby shower.
Check the internet too
Good Luck and have fun.
