Hi,

How is your dad? National Kidney Foundation guidelines recommend you start dialysis when your kidney function drops to 15% or less—or if severe symptoms caused by kidney disease, such as: shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle cramps, nausea or vomiting is already present. Gradual loss of kidney function is called chronic kidney disease (CKD). People with CKD may go on to permanent kidney failure. Take care and regards.
