Bilateral Renal Paranchymal Disease

My father has high blood pressure for long time. A few days ago he got acute gastroenteritis therefore we took him to the hospital. They started the treatment and in the lab tests they found raised urea and createnine. Later they asked for the ultrasongraphy which showed Renal parenchymal disease (Grade-I)  and Bilateral simple cortical cysts measurining 43 mm diameter on the right and 23 mm diameter on the left kidney. On first day the createnine was 4.3 and today it is 6.2.  Please tell me about the prognosis, tratment  and indication of hemodealysis.Thanks
