Hi,my 38 yr old husband was diagnosed with renal insufficiency ,he was born with one kidney on the right side ,the left one never functioned and it's very small by size ,we had the blood work done and his creatinine level is 2.6 which is double then normal.I'm very worried as the doc told us his kidney is working only 31% and if it starts to go down then he needs the dialysis :(:( and then transplant at the end. Currently he's been taking Diovan 80mg once a day for 7 month already and his blood pressure is gone.please tell me if there is a chance he can live all his life without needing the transplant or dialysis or is his condition necessarily gonna be worse by the time ?? thanks .
