Can long-term Imodium(immodium) use lead to kidney stones???

Does anybody know if there is a connection with Imodium (immodium) use and kidney stone formation? I have been dealing with CHRONIC kidney stones (over 60) for the last six years. I have been through test after test and from doctor to doctor with no answer ever found for what on earth is causing these awful things.

I have asked every doctor if the fact that I take imodium (immodium) every day to control my IBS-like symptoms could be causing these kidney stones to form. They all brush it off and say they don't know. I am so tired of going through this and I have tried everything. I don't even have ANY of the risk factors for kidney stones - no family history, I don't eat red meat, I don't take calcium supplements, I drink plenty of water, etc.

From my memory it seems that I started the Imodium (immodium) use about 6 months to a year before the first kidney stone. If anybody has ANY information or insight on this I would really appreciate it! I have to go in tomorrow for and IVP and I'm just so tired of the pain and all the tests and of being tired all the time.
