DAUGHTER'S KIDNEY IS NOT DEVELOP

I have an 8 years old daughter who always wet her underwear more than ten times in a day and it is not accidentally but going through the day with that situation.  Doctors said her right kidney is not develop that is why she always pee and so they need to operate. I would like to ask any body who have the same problems with their kids and if there is any other alternative or any medication.  My daughter is afraid of the surgery and she said she just go on with her life just like that but I need any help that someone can give me.   Any treatment that maybe helpful. And if there is also some side effect in the near future if she will undergo on this surgery?
