I've been on dialysis since 3/2008, I have had severe OA in my knees since late 2004, it put me in a wheelchair.
I was taking MSM, Glucosamine and Chondroitin to maintain movement and control pain along with Tylenol and much stronger Rx stuff.
My nephrologist said to stop the MSM. Actually he didn't know what it was and therefore the effect on my treatments or condition.
I've been interested in trying Osteo-Biflex advanced wgich also contains MSM and otjher compounds.
I contacted them but they ae dumb about this saying to consult my MD. (duh!) after I told them didn't know.
Is anybody on Dialysis & taking Oseo-Biflex and/or MSM?
Any side effecta?
Has anybody had a kidney transplant and taking these supplements?
