Dialysis
Do they do regular STD/HIV/Herpes checks and other infections for patients with dialysis, because of the law contact with blood?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The chance of getting HIV infection  and hepatitis B/C through dialysis treatment is small because of the strict infection control measures used in dialysis units today. A screening is done prior to dialysis, for HIV, hepatitis B/C. If positive then, then isolation of these patients for dialysis is done.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
