Healthy 29 year old with decreasing kidney function

I'm a healthy 29 year old beautiful blood pressure and blood sugars. Over the last 2 years I lost 60lbs I also lost kidney function! My gfr 2 years ago was 75 creatinine was 0.9. Now it's 59 and 1.1 I tested my urine since my gp didn't think I had anything to worry about and I had 2+ protein. I did talk her into a kidney ultrasound which she said came back normal.
I'm at a loss for why and what my next step should be!

Thank you for your reply I have none of the risk factors and get most of my protein from beans. I have an appointment for a second opinion and hopefully more tests.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
You may need complete medical evaluation for determining the exact cause of your symptoms. Excessive intake of animal protein can cause deterioration of kidney function and kidney failure. Hypertension, diabetes mellitus, chemical injury to kidneys; bladder or ureteral obstruction all can cause decreasing kidney function. You may try taking a diet low in animal protein and repeat the tests after a month or so. For more queries and assistance visit a nephrologist.Hope it helps.
Best luck and kind regards!
