I have participated in the interferon program and successfully cleared myself from hep c but I have recently had a blood test at my local GP and they have detcted hep c antibodies. Does this mean I have Hep C again?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The presence of antibodies may also indicate a past infection. To confirm have a HCV RNA, Qualitative test done. If this is negative, then most likely it is a past infection.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
