High Creatinine with Low BUN/CREATININE ratio?

Hi. I recently had a blood test which showed a creatinine level of 3.3 (dangerously high), a BUN of 11, and a BUN/Creatinine ratio of 3. What does the Bun/Creatinine level indicate? Why is it so low, if the BUN reading alone seems to be in the normal range? Does this suggest a problem in addition to the kidney problem indicated by the high Creatinine level?

Hi there...You creatinine is very high. Did your doctor consult you on what he or she thinks. Now my brother has high creatinine levels when he eats meats or other high protein foods. Because it is so high I would make sure you speak with a health care professional. Maybe they should run it again.

hello im stage 4 liver cerosse hep c 1a diabetic typ 2 on metforman glipasside lantus novalog byate one test my creatinine is 0.8 and 254.0 on a norther creatinine test is that consider way bad our just sort of bad and can way protean make it worse new problem for me and i don't see a doctor for about 5 days to ask WATS up with me and Wat questions should i ask my doctor is my kidneys starting to fail 4 years ago i had a compleat systom shut down is this the start of that again
