I have a problem with Hyper Frequent Urination?

I am a 52 year old male, have had a major stroke about 10 years ago, am disabled on my RH side. I have had this hyper frequent urination problem even before the stroke. Finally I asked the Dr. about it and he prescribed Flomax. Now it is even worse, it goes away for about three hours of taking the pill and is worse than before. When I say frequent I mean frequent, once a hour for 3-5 hours, if I don't get to the bathroom in time I wet myself. this has been going on daily for three weeks, it's getting old. This has driven my problem through the roof! Please help? Give me some advice that I can use? I use the restroom about 1 an hour from about 4pm until I wake up in the morning about 7-8 am. It's getting old, could somebody offer advice to me, please!
