Increased Creatinine

by shantang2007, May 29, 2008 11:55AM
Hi Doctor!
I'm a 29 year old man. Few months back i was diagnosed with enlarged heart with lv ef = 20%. Now it has improved and its now tested to be 65% last month. Let me come to the point.
While thorough tests, I found out that my BUN = 41mg/100ml and Serum creatinine = 2.0 mg/100ml.
My question is that is there any medication or diet which can help me out to reduce my creatinine levels.
I'm already taking less amount of protein foods in my diet, especially the animal protein.
So please help me out to reduce my creatinine levels and to cure my kidney functions.

Hi, before we discuss about the medication and cures, we need to find out what exactly caused your decreased kidney function. Do you have any other kidney related symptoms? blood/protein in urine? High blood pressure?
