Is it Kidney infection

My 18 year old daughter has been running a fever of 99-101 for the past 5 days. We brought her to the ER with severe pains in the lower right quadrant, thinking it might be apendicitis. Blood work, and Cat scan showed nothing...urinalysis showed infection. They put her on Bactrim. Next evening we brought her back to the ER because she was screaming in excruciating pain. After about 3 hours or so the pain just went away and the ER said it is probably an ovarian cyst. She is still having pain but the pain goes from the right hip area to the front area wherre her ovaries are. She is on the antibiotic for 5 days and is still running a 100 degree temp. What can it be?

Thanks. Yes they did a pregnancy test. We went back to our family doctor and they did an ultrasound and found out it was gall stones. She is waiting to see a surgeon. Thank you for your response.

Yeah...that doesn't sound like her kidneys. That sounds like a ruptured cyst. But make sure it's not an etopic pregnancy. Did they do a pregnancy test??
