Is minimal change disease related to alpha 1 antitrypsin

hi i was diagnosed alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency (Pims) 2 years ago after my consultant was concerned that my emphysemia was progressig too rapidly. I have spent the past 2 years having all required tests in order to get transplant list but in the middle of it all got minimal change disease. Steriods put me in remission for 5mtsm but alas in july it returned. I am now on steriods again 50mg 4ks, 40mg 4wks now 30mg for 1 week and 5mg decrease each week utill 5mg alterative days.  I have 2 questions please. If i continue to relaspe will it affect my changes of getting my transplant and do you think there is a link betweem minimal change disease and alpha 1. I have also had a heart attack that required 2 stents. Thanks
