I HAVE PKD I WAS BORN WITH IT AND NOW 51 YEARS OLD I AM HAVING ALOT OF PAIN IN THE BACK AND ON EACH SIDES OF THE LOWER BACK THAT IS HARD TO HANDLE. CAN ANY BODY HELP ME WITH THIS IM ABOUT TO GIVE UP.

what is pkd? i wish i could help but i do not know what this is. i am sorry u are hurting. kidney problems are so scary and painful. do u see a specialist on a regular basis? please just try hanging in there and i hope someone can help with your pain.

Don't give up! Tylenol will do the trick most of the time. I hope you see a doctor and he may be able to give you a stronger medication.
I know how you feel, have been there myself. But there is always hope! How is your kidney function?
I am 59 and have known about PKD since I was 35, in 2 month I will get a kidney from my husband. there will be good days and bad days, but you will always come out a winner.
