Kidney Disease (FSGS) and ADD

I have been living with FSGS since the early 90's with little change i.e. remains stable with the only symptom of elevated protein in my urine.  I take 10MG Listenopril and have for years.

My son was diagnosed with ADHD, something I believe I have had for years.  They suggested I try small dose of Concerta 18MG.  They said there is no link to causes of kidney impact but before I begin taking would like an opinion if this would be dangerous?

Thank you.
