Kidney Stone Problems

by jgkgbgvg, Oct 02, 2008 05:16PM
I have been diagnosed with a 5mm kidney stone in my left kidney.  Apparently this one is quite evasive, it keeps moving in and out of the kidney for the past 4 months. I just had the lithotripsy procedure done 2 days ago, and a few pieces came out, but nothing since the first day. My stomach keeps hurting like when I had problems with the stone popping out of the kidney, but I also have to pee all of the time. I don't have any blood, but are these things ever going to come out?  When they did the procedure, they said that the stone was back in the kidney again. It is so painful, dealing with this. Is this normal?  How long could it take to come out? The doctor said that it is unusual for a stone to move back and forth, especially when it was about 4 inches down the ureter. Is that normal?
