I had an ultra sound in 2006 due to RUQ pains.
I've asked my PCM twice about this and they will not give me an answer. I do have blood pressure that is uncontrollable and now since 2010 high blood glucose levels.
Findings.......
Liver........................"The parenchyma is diffusely mildly echogenic with loss of the normal portal triads."
Kidney.....................""there appears to be mild thinning of the cores of the inferior pole" Right kidney
Impression......
Liver.............."probably fatty infiltration of the liver with echogenic heterogeneous parenchyma diffusely throughout. further imaging of the live and right upper quadrant with a CT is suggested given limitations." I've asked my doctor for this to be looked into more especially when my blood glucose became high but they sit like I am an alien.
Kidney............"Probable mild parenchymal loss from prior injury at the inferior pole of the left kidney suggested" Above this said "right" kidney?
Can anyone give me laymens wording here?
Also what could cause both of these, could they be the cause of my uncontrollable blood pressure and high blood glucose type II.
Any other help/info would be appreciated or anything I need to ask my primary care doctors.
Thanks in advance.
