Kidney stones

I recently was rushed by ambulance to emerg for what was a lodged kidney stone.
I literally thought i was dying,.
the pain was more then i could bare.
i have had a lot of surgeries and pain and have delivered two boys and this pain was unlike no other.
what can i do to ensure this doesnt happen again?
how can i avoid these stones and how do i know what type of stones i have.
what diet should i be on, foods and drinks to have and to avoid.
excercise and lifestyle ect.

I have kidney stones all the time and it is the worst pain ever!!! Drink plenty of water at all times. Avoid soda, coffee, and caffiene.
