Recently my father (age 69) got lab work done, indicating some problems with is kidneys. The doctor did not go into the details of the results and was not overly concerned. However, the doctor did take him off his blood pressurePressure ulcer medication (vasotec) and is reconsidering his pain medication (arthrotec) and has ordered further lab work. In the mean time, we have questionis: is this necessarily idicative of serious problems? does this mean there has been irreperable damage? I realize there is not much information to go on here --we won't know much until follow-up doctor's visits--but would appreciate any insight. Thanks.
