PKD and Hypertention ( Extremely urgent )

This is my first question in this forum.

I am 30 with PKD. I have BP around 140/90.

From the last around two months I am taking 50 MG Losartan Potassium daily.
I think this drug doesn't suit me properly. I am feeling some abnormal left eye blinking and some pulping in different parts of my body. I also feel like some liquids in my kidney sides ( I'm sorry for my bizzar questions, kindly consider it extremely urgent ). I don't know if the above conditions are due to this drug or not.

I went to my doctor but he said that don't quit this drug and continue it. He said that he advised me this drug not only for my BP but also people with PKD when take this drug, it is very good for them.

I wish that there is a very simple nice drug which can keep my BP to 120/80 and it has no side effects. Kindly advise and then I will discuss your kind advise with my doctor and we will go ahead.

I have PKD as well as Cystinuria, and take a combination of Thiola (for the Cystinuria) and Captopril & Potassium Citrate (also for the kidney-stones).

As far as I'm aware, my doctor isn't treating the PKD as it's not a complex case and my kidney-stones are more worrisome than is the PKD.

Since you don't have cystinuria, I'd stay away from the Thiola, but the Potassium Citrate & Captopril might be a good combination for you, specifically the Captopril as it's a blood-pressure medication that has good renal improvement side-effects.
