Protein in urine

i have a protein level of 300 in my urine should i be worried and what should i do if this is bad? Plus what is a normal protein level in urine?

mine is +4..2000mg an im struggleing to get any where with gps! nothing has been diagnosed an constant repeat test of urine an blood.what was ur next step? x

very high protein in urine is not uncommon in late stage kidney disease, if this were the case though and to be that high, you should ahve other tell tale symptoms, I really would get a simple blood test to check your kidney function though. a one off high reading can happen if just had a very high protein consumption

Hey Brendan, if you haven't already, you should definitly see a nephrologist so they can run a complete blood work-up to get a better idea of what is going on.  How are you doing now?
