Stone Found What Now

Last week or so I was in so much pain I wouldn't even think of writing just get rid of this pain is all I could think of!
I still have some pain in my right side and side back area nothing like I had.  My doctor yesterday gave me a list of Urologist to choose from after telling me the CTscan  with contrast showed I had a stone.  My doctor didn't tell me how large or much anything else?
My doctor said that if my pain is gone than don't go to the urologist, I might of pass the stone.
My question is should I call the urologist just in case or just forget it?

Thank you for responding to my question.
Yes, I think I understand what you are saying? You want to know what to expect of having a stone or gallstones is that correct?  And any response is good, is what  your saying,  is appreciated?
I just want to forget all the pain myself!  But what cause the stone, and the way I been reading stones will come back?
I did go ahead an made a apt with the urologist, but it's a way off for a couple of weeks before I can see him.
I still have background pain (that is what I call it) still in the same area/ How are you feeling today? Do you Judy have other problems along with the kidney and gallstones?
