Unilateral Kidneys

I was diagnosed with having unilateral renal hypoplasia, which means both Kidneys are located on the right side. One kidney is smaller than the other and is located beneath the larger one. Both are functioning, but the bigger one is doing most of the work. I was trying to do research on Pregnancy and this defect, but I havn't really gotten anywhere. The local Urologist says that it may cause problems if I were to ever get pregnant. Any ideas or suggestions?
