i need some help. My docotrs are stumped, but are doing more tests. I am a 32 year old male in good health 6'2" 205lbs. great bp, dont smoke, do drugs etc. i have been feeling like **** for awhile. going on over 2 years with inconclusive tests. at one point i was diagnosed with low testosterone, but have since been undiagnosed.
I was barely able to get out of bed the other day and got an appointment to get checked out. a full blood lab was done and some disturbing things came back with no explaination as to why. my creatinine was off the charts high at 2.87, but my potassium was low at 3.2, my chloride was also slightly low at 97. the problem being my bun was normal at 19.
I have had my glucose checked many times and has come back on occasion as low, even when it is not a fasting test. this time my glucose came back at 214. i did have several glasses of orange juice before the test, trying to get energy. all my other blood work came back normal. my doctors are stumped right now because the bun, creatine and potassium dont add up.
