Whats wrong with me

I am a 16 year old 6 foot kid who weighs 150.  Over several months now my urine as been producing bubbles.  My urine produces big bubble and small bubbles.  The big bubbles disappear relatively fast however the small ones won't disappear for a long time.  Even though I eat a lot of candy,  I am very skinny and don't have diabetes really throughout my family.  I really have no other real symptoms and have been successfully been doing sports and regular life activities with ease.  I would really like the help if someone could explain whats going on and why it started to occur months ago and hasn't went away.  Thank You

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The bubbles can occur with proteinuria. It could be due to urinary tract infection. Evidence of a stone needs to be ruled out. You need to consult a doctor, who will examine you. He will ask for a urine analysis and a culture of your urine to start you on the appropriate antibiotic. In the meantime consume plenty of oral fluids.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

I would recommend a trip to your doctor for a Urinalysis.  It is simple and painless.  It will clear up some of your questions because even if diabetes does not run in your family you can still get it.  I hope all works out for you.

Stay Healthy!
