a-typical cells in urine

a friend has a small mass in both kidneys that his docs have been tracking for two years.  He had a cytology last week that shows level three a-typical cells. last year the level was a one.  should we be concerned.

Is your friend's mass being monitored radiographically?

During the initial imaging scan , how was the mass described?

The presence of atypical cells in urine void cytology needs further evaluation. A more enhanced imaging scan and close monitoring of the mass may be needed.
