border line high creatine levels and low gfr rate?

hello, i have had  border line creatine levels 119 and gfr function 54  for last six months.
(these are average readings from 4 tests).
I am a 43 year old male. If I had been feeling healthy i wouldn't be concerned
However for the last 6 months I have also had the following symptoms

extreme muscle stiffness and pain(in fingers , toes, lower back, neck,  left groin and even my tongue?!)
i have eye muscle problem( where one eye doesnt  follow the other when I look down and to the right)
(makes computer use and proloned reading difficult)
pronounced unexplained fatigue sometimes unable to complete even
a round of golf
difficulty concentrating
constantly feeling cold, sensitivity with lower body temp 36.4 average

these symptoms all apeared 6 months ago after  I had a bad sore throat  (strept throat was negative )
told it was just a virus
( im an elementary teacher so virus infections are common)

symptoms are so severe I have had to take time off work for 5 months (first time off work ever)
i have never had these symptoms before and things were so bad I went to emergency

all my tests are in normal range
thyroid (i believe 1.48) blood pressure excellent 125/73
no diabities, no inflamation (arthritis tests negative)
colonoscpy negative

medical history
heart value surgery 1970 (bicusp valve)
checked every year i have mild/moderate stenois eventual value replacement but currently and since surgery asymptomatic

2006 suffered bowel infection from mexico  yersina bacteria/blastos hommus parasite
took flagyl twice and cypro once stool negative for yersina since july 2007 still positive for blastos homis
diagnoised with post infection iBS

nothing I do reduces muslce stiffness I have tried massage, advil, warm baths moderate exersice
i can walk on a flat surface for 30 minutes but if i have to do any repeatable or strenuousmuscle exersice i.e
uphill walking or golfing i have significant muscle fatigue and inability to do it

?? can my kidney function results be causing my muscle stiffness /fatigue
should i be concerned about CKD? with these results?
Are there any other conditions tests I should have?
My doctor says these results are normal come back in a year?
and my stiffness is because I'm out of shape????
i used to swim play golf 4 times a week and
i have tried to walk briskly for 7 weeks 30 minutes a day in pain with no improvement
i know its not in my head, but i don t want to appear as a hyper condriact ...
but the last time i tried to play golf a 85 year old man with a pace maker could finish and i couldn't?

any comments would be appreciated
thanks
DAN

I have had very similar symptoms to what you are experiencing and I think it is due to the low filtration rate of kidneys. Have you gained a lot of weight that you feel is fluid retention?
Hope you feel better and find solutions soon!

thanks for responding , i have had alot of the basic tests,
including urine tests which show no protein or rbc

i will ask new doctor today about anti body screen
what exactly is that test for or called?
i am not sure if i have had these tests or not/

I have redness on face, and shoulders but not really apronounced or an obvious rash

Do you or have you ever had any rash?

Have you done a Auto - antibody screen? If not, please ask the doc to give you an immune system check.

Fatigue, stiffness, reduced GFR... It sounds to me like a systematic thing with kidney involvement.

I could be wrong, but thats what first came into my head after reading your symptoms.

Your creatine level is high and GFR is low. Is there RBC and protein in your urinalysis?
