what can i take (over the counter)for heartburn ? i have stage 3 ckd with a gfr of 36. just looking for a couple of suggestions.

I have CKD with a GFR of 30. I can safely take Prilosec, but not every day. I just take it when I feel the heartburn coming on. The Prilosec relieves it in about 45 minutes.
