creatine level one kidney

My wife had her right kidney removed in 2001 by mistake, she is bi-polar and currently on 7 bi-polar meds and just recently went to the hospital. The problem was her bowels do not move  well. After the kidney was lost in 2001 her other kidney had only 40-50% function . She does not go to her kikney doctor anymore, denial I guess.I had the doctor at the hospital do blood work and her creatine level was 1.43 on the remaining kidney. I dont know how bad she is, her last visit to her doctor was 2 years ago. She has all the systems of renal falure 3 or 4 from what I read. I have been taken off the hipa list so I cannot speak to the doctor. Any thoughts on her severity. Thank you,Roger53
