duplex kidney

i was diagnosed with duplex kidney on the right a few months ago,i have had infections for years and suffer pain on a regular basis which is aggravated when i need to urinate,add this with the fact that i need the loo at least three and up to six times an hour ,i am now at my wits end.doctors are no help( as the so called caring profession) i have constantly been told iam not in pain and a duplex kidney doesnt cause problems and that its all in my mind.what do i do?where do i get help?or as a fourty two year old am  i meant to live with this
