I was just trying to find out something about high creatine myself. I came across your question. Have you found out anything? My dr. just called and told me to come back in the office for another blood test because my creatine is too high, whatever that means. I have scleroderma and sometimes I know that runs with it. I have a cyst on my kidney and am going tomorrow for an ultrasound. I like to diagnos myself before I get to the dr. Sometimes you have to do that in order to help them alittle.

Hi,

Aside from creatinine levels, what other tests were done? Creatinine, urea and urate all increase as the kidneys become increasingly unable to cope.  A reliable measure of renal function is often expressed to doctors by a creatinine clearance test. Other  laboratory tests needs to be done  such as  urinalysis, X-rays or scans, and sometimes even biopsies of the kidneys to determine the underlying cause.

Take care and do keep us posted with the results.
