ileal conduit effect my dialysis treatments

Can my  ileal conduit effect my dialysis treatments. I feel sick and my head starts tightening while I'm in dialysis towards the 2nd hour of my treatment. I understand my ileal conduit is urinating at the same time as I'm being dialized and I feel that being dialized for 4 hours 3 days a week is too much for my body. I can only handle two hours at the most and then get off, go home and sleep the rest of the day...... sleep off my headache. Can you give me any in-site.... my nephrologist does not seem to understand. Thanks!!!

Im afraid I can help you with that one but hope someone can. I would be very interested in the repsonse as I have an ileal conduit myself and have rapidly progressing CKD so will need dialysis myself before the year is out likely. already have av fistula graft in thigh in readiness.  What I really would like to ask you though, is what were you told in relaation to transplant? i have already been told that I am not a good candidate due to the ileal conduit. ie the ileal conduit is the cause and therefor, as it cannot be altered, any new kidney would suffer the same outcome. Apparently that puts me at the bottom of the list as the prognosis is not great, so they say, for a good outcome, ie in other words I am a waste of a new kidney. have you been told anything like this???
