kidney.- Nephroptosis

I am told that my kidney is dropping and that is referred as Nephroptosis, what causes this Nephroptosis and why does it happen. Also what is the best way to rectify this, is there any medication or it surgery.
I must say that i only feel the pain certain times of the day not all the time, esp when am standing. This is the only syptoms (symptoms). These past week i have not felt any pain

Nephroptosis is a condition where the kidneys drop down into the abdominal cavity, i.e mobility of the kidneys. The kidneys are supposed to be stabilised in the retroperitoneal space by renal fat. A lack of this fat causes this condition. The main symptom is pain when standing up, due to the kidneys dropping down, alongside symptoms such as bladder weakness, hypertension, etc. There are surgical treatments available, however, the best option is to simply put on weight, by a high fat and protein diet.
