kidney failure

Hi. I'm a 15 year old female and I have stage 4 kidney disease. I was told that I'm going to have to start getting dialysis at least 3 times a week. I'm close to end stage kidney faliure.  I was wondering if anyone gets dialysis does it hurt when you get it? How do you feel after treatment? I'm kinda nervous about this.

I'm sure you are worried.   Trust your doctors.   I don't think dialysis hurts.  My niece has been on dialysis for nearly 10 years now.  She is on a transplant list, but she has a rare blood and it is taking awhile to get a kidney, but she has a job, she has 4 kids, a husband, and her spirits are high.  Dialysis does not need to interupt your life.  Just don't let it.  I asked my niece how she feels after she has dialysis and she said it gives her energy, takes away the tiredness.  Makes her feel better.   Keep faith and do as the doctors say.
