kidney issues and cysts

by Tabbykat8535, Jun 18, 2009 11:34AM
My daughter has had 2 surgerys to correct reflux of the kidneys. A few months after her second surgery the doctor noticed a cysts on her left kidney. That was 4 years ago. Well last you she had a ultrasound and it showed her cysts was pretty small with no blood flow to it. Well this year the size had tripled. Now there is some concern. My question is why is there concern now and there wasnt concern before?? My daughter is 6, the size of her kidney is 10.06cm by 4.75cm. The cysts is 3.02com by 2.56cm.

Thank You.
Tabatha
