kidney perforation
a friend of mine has been vommiting.he is just 10yrs old,and the doctor's diagnosis says his kidney is perforated hence they found water in the kidney,lungs and liver.also protein in the blood and also anemia.pls what is the possible cause and treatment?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

They could have meant it as that the kidney is leaking protein. His symptoms could be due to Nephrotic syndrome as he is a child. It  is a group of symptoms that include protein in the urine, low blood protein levels, high cholesterol levels, high triglyceride levels, and swelling. Nephrotic syndrome is caused by different disorders that damage the kidneys. So, treatment lies in determining the cause and treating it. Also, the consequent hypertension and hypercholesteremia are treated.
