looking for answers concerning my daughter kidney cond

my daughter is now 25 years old and im having problems finding a doctor who understands her medical histroy i was told at her birth she had multi cystic distolic kidney {right} you are refering to it under a different name but it appears to be the same. my issue is she had her kidney removed at 3 weeks old her last checkup was at 10years of age i was in process of moving and had asked her physican for a copy of hr records that i may take with me he had said they were or had been stolen. she hasnt had proper follow up care since then as every physian we have seen tells me i am wrong and that multicystic and polycystic are the same i know they are not can you help me please find a physian for that knows about multicystic as i know she needs follow up care for many reasons as i know shes at risk for kidney diseease as her father is a type 2 diabetic.i have many questions and need answers she is in houston texas can you help me
